We love to hear interesting and fun ways of fundraising and one of our corporate supporters is doing just that. Pellings who are celebrating their 40th anniversary have chosen Cherry Trees as their charity of the year. Many of the staff are coming up with hair brain ideas (hope the pun isn’t too much!) to raise money.
Matt pictured below has decided in his wisdom to shave off his beloved 3.5 year old beard following this year’s Glastonbury festival. He says:
“The big day will be Thursday 29th June and the mind-numbing (for me) event will take place at 4pm. The room will be thoroughly disinfected after the event and any birds nests found will be disposed of in accordance with COSHH regulations… Snacks however, will be saved for later!”
A couple of weeks ago several of the team decided to take on a colour run and be doused with lots of coloured powder whilst running!
So we are looking forward to hearing about other ways they get to raise funds for us – thank you Pellings.
Do you work within a business that offers charitable support, or perhaps you know someone who does? We are happy to show anyone round Cherry Trees and see how we can work together. It is not always financial support, but skill sets or volunteering are always valuable to us. If you have any thoughts please get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org.
