We are always overwhelmed by the support that we receive from so many individuals, clubs & societies, organisations, schools and trusts for which we are very grateful. In July we were lucky enough to benefit from the performance of two Opera Events, Grange Park Opera at West Horsley Place and the Guildford Lions Opera & picnic in the park at Hatchlands. Guildford Lions have been loyal supporters of Cherry Trees for many years not only by raising much needed funds for us but also helping out in a variety of ways at our events. Their “Opera and picnic in the Park evening was a huge success attracting over 300 guests and raising over £7,000 which is a phenomenal amount. Thank you Guildford Lions for all of your support.
A wonderful evening was had by our 30 guests as they enjoyed their picnics and dinners when Grange Park Opera put on its compelling production of Die Walküre in its new home at West Horsley Place on July 1st.
Grange Park Opera has become synonymous not only with artistic excellence, but also the warmth of the relationship shared between loyal audiences, supporters and artists. Not without reason has it become known in the opera world as ‘a small jewel with big performances’.
Cherry Trees were delighted to be chosen as Grange Park Opera’s Charity Partner and to be very kindly given tickets to market for this performance at the opening season of their purpose built Opera House in the Woods.
Our thanks go to Trudi Harris MBE, Patron of Cherry Trees for her collaboration with Grange Park Opera and a massive thanks to everyone at West Horsley Place
